Unidentified Boy, Maine

His name is not known nor who he belongs to.  All that is known is where he was found.  The boy’s body was found by a local resident of South Berwick, Maine along a lonely gravel road which connects Route 4 in South Berwick to Route 9 in North Berwick, Maine.

He was found fully clothed, wearing a Faded Glory-brand gray colored camouflage hooded sweatshirt, tan-colored khaki pants, a navy blue T-shirt with “Aviator Series” displayed on the front, and “Lightning McQueen” black sneakers.  As of yet, no one has identified the child nor has anyone reported him missing.  That’s what is very disturbing about this case.  He was just dumped at the side of the road and left there.

Police also are looking for a navy blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that may be related to the case. It has an extended cab and a full cap over the bed. The truck has a white license plate, but the state is unknown.

Anyone with information on the boy’s identity or the pickup truck is asked to call Maine State Police in Gray, Maine, at (207) 657-3030.

The Mystery of Princess Blue

A few years back, I became involved in trying to give an unidentified woman her name back.  She was found off of a service road in Brazoria County, Texas.  There were many murdered women who were dumped in and around this area in Brazoria County.   When a local pulled off of the road to relieve himself, he found the remains which were skeletal.   According to the medical examiner, her remains had been there for a few years.   No one knew who she was.

What intrigued me about this particular case was the Class of 1975 Robert E. Lee High  School class ring that was on her finger.   The school was located in Houston, Texas, and has since been renamed “Lee High School”.   One would think that this would be a great clue and would make the chore of identifying her very easy.   Not so.   My former admin here at someoneknowsme.com, myself and others used the Robert E. Lee High School 1975 yearbook that we purchased to harvest names of students who might have owned that class ring.  We thought perhaps someone had lost it somewhere, or maybe someone had given the ring as a gift.   We had much hope that we might find the owner of the ring and finally give this young woman her real name back.   After many hundreds of letters were sent out, and countless telephone calls to the investigators in Brazoria County, Texas she still has no name.   Out of respect for her, and the desire to give her a real name, we called her Princess Blue.     It has been almost 21 years since Princess Blue’s remains were discovered.  To this day, her identity remains a mystery.  The Houston Press even ran a story on her due to our efforts to identify her.

Good Things on the Horizon

While someoneknowsme.com suffered a catastrophic database loss two years ago, and we took a major setback in our mission, the team has decided that it is time to move full force into the future.  We have many plans and are currently working on classroom materials for parents, as well as law enforcement and look forward to our planned release of the someoneknowsme social networking site.

We look forward to the hard work ahead, but know that it is a mission of love.

Blessings,

The SKM Team
